Hi we are running a six node NX3050 cluster (ESXi 6 hypervisor)

we are about to install a a second 6 node NX cluster in a remote site from the original NX cluster. This cluster will also be running ESXi 6.

Is it possible to replicate the ESXi VM's (for DR) to the second NX cluster.

The origin of my question arises from confusion as to whether replication is only available at a cross hypervisor level ie ESXi to AHV

Thanks in advance

Absolutely! You can set up protection domains and replicate them over to that secondary cluster with just a few clicks

Product documentation is here: https://portal.nutanix.com/#/page/docs/details?targetId=Web_Console_Guide-Prism_v4_7:wc_dr_management_wc_c.html
