Movement of Blocks between Nodes

Hello -

When a VM is moved to another node in the cluster and the blocks it needs are not present on the node where it moved to, does NOS copy the blocks (read across the network) to the local node the first time those blocks are read?

That's correct. As and when the VM's does a read request for the data which is not available local to the node and CVM has to service the request from remote node, it also starts writing data to the local node so that future read requests can be services from local node.
