What are the minimum numbers of nodes per block when working with the NOS v4 Availability Domains feature? I understand the minimum number of blocks for this feature is three, but I'm wondering if there are guidelines for number of nodes (per block and per cluster). Also, do the blocks need to be configured uniformly with number of nodes per block for the Availability Domains feature to work optimally?

One node blocks is correct but would argue there is ok real value till you have at least two nodes in each block.

You can have minimum of 3 - one node blocks for the default RF=2 container. We recommend atleast 3 uniform blocks for block aware feature to work.

Thanks guys, good to know that uniformity is paramount. I understand that using a small number of nodes per block is not favorable, but I now know what the smallest starting configuration is for using the Availability Domains feature.
