Guest OS using NGT

Hello,

We're trying to get the guest OS type/version using API calls on AHV.

We can see some posts about this topic that are almost 1 year old, and hope that the API is at last covering that, with v3 being GA.

Can you confirm whether it's achievable now, or if it's on the roadmap?
And if it's still not possible on AHV, then what is the "guest_os_version" property of the "nutanix_guest_tools_status" object?

@nrizk @JebBrinkman As per nutanix, getting Guest OS in AHV hypervisor is currently not available. I had the similar problem and found out that this feature is yet not available in AHV.

Very interested in this. Testing AHV right now, and can't figure out how to view what Guest OS is running on each VM.

I am also having the same issue. I have several VMs and when I am pulling the VM details via powershell the Guest OS is empty. arghhhhh is there any way we can get the guest os information?

and YES, also VM Description (Summary) is having the same issue. Not able to pull these two details.
