Getting Serial number/service tag

Good afternoon,
I want to register my cluster to get nutanix support, but I'm unable to find the serial number/service tag.
How can I get it?

looks like you are a dell customer. Use the service tag from any of the servers.

you can also find this in Prism under Hardware

How can we get the service tag from lenovo HX series ?

One way is from the front of the box using the panel.

Other is from the remote management page of the node.


Third way is from Prism, Hardware, table view, click on node, under Summary, node serial.

I tried the node serial number diplayed in prism under hardware. actuallty, it is not recognized in nutanix ID page.

Hello, my serial number is incorrect 😞

And ...

Once get the Serial number from Hardware> Table> Host> Summary> Node Serial.
i key it the Serial number to Support Portal, it still error [Invalid authorization code or serial number], refer below. any solution of it?

BillionChiang login to one of your cvm and see the node s/n it should provide same s/n through Prism
you can email the s/n and your contact details to support@nutanix.com

Try the block serial number instead of the node serial number, if they are different

Similar situation here with Dell XC730 serial numbers not being recognized.
