Inuvika Inc. set out to achieve a key goal: to make application virtualization easy. Inuvika wanted to provide customers with an alternative way to deliver virtualized Windows and Linux apps together on a single user interface. It had to be done without all the cost and complexity of traditional VDI solutions. It only makes sense for Inuvika to work with partners who also value the same goal of simplifying technology and increasing value to customers.

Today, Inuvika is pleased to announce that OVD, our virtualized application delivery platform, has been verified as Nutanix Ready AHV for the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform. Now, customers who deploy OVD on the Nutanix platform can do so with greater confidence that the software and hardware have been tested and verified for interoperability.

Our partnership creates tremendous value for our joint customers. To begin with, Inuvika OVD deployed on the Nutanix platform represents a complete end-to-end solution for delivering virtualized applications and shared desktops in a turn-key manner. By consolidating server, storage, and virtualization into a single integrated platform, virtualized app environments can be up and running more quickly and easily than ever before.

When compared to traditional VDI solution, Inuvika OVD is less complex and very easy to manage through our single web-based administration console. Users can also access their applications and data from any location on any device, including iOS, Android, and any HTML5 web browser. Best of all, Inuvika OVD solutions can be a fraction of the cost of traditional VDI solutions. When combined with Nutanix’s easy to use Prism management interface for the infrastructure and their included, license-free, AHV hypervisor, the result is an even more powerful, cost-effective turnkey solution for application and shared desktop virtualization.

OVD was also designed for rapid deployment from the start, so pairing the software with an enterprise cloud platform that is also quick to deploy translates into a combined solution that reduces overall installation time, is high-performing, and scales quickly.

We’re very excited to work with Nutanix and look forward to growing our combined presence within our channel ecosystems. With this announcement, customers can be assured they are receiving a complete, cost-effective solution with Enterprise support from both Inuvika and Nutanix.
