ISO upload

Hey guys, using the CE 1/10 build I can upload an ISO through the portal, but the state doesn't change from inactive. Any clue on how to fix it? Also there are a lot of undefined fields in this build.

Use this to delete all inactive images:

1.) Click on the Admin drop down (top right of Prism)2.) Select MGMT API Explorer (will open new browser tab)3.) Click on /images to expand, then click on blue "Get" to expand4.) Click on "Try It Out", you will get the result below in Yellow5.) Find the image you want to delete and copy the uuid from the results6.) Scroll down and find the red "Delete" under /images7.) Scroll down to the bottom of "Delete" and paste the uuid where the (required) value is.8.) Click on "Try it Out".

Thanks

If the image is not completely uploaded it is inactive.
Image has to be active to mount the iso.
Alternatively you can use winscp application to upload iso and images files to the container.
Use cvmip and port 2222. Use prism username and password to login.
If you can directly connect the system to the router during upload so there is no hiccup.

Yes, I know that's how you should upload it / use it in the VM. However after updating to the latest GA build when I upload a new ISO the state doesn't change from inactive, and I have no option to edit. Do you need a photo?

RE ISO upload
Yes, screenshots would be good, walk us through it with some photos and we'll drill in

RE Undefined fields
What do you mean by that? Screenshot would be nice.

I did hear of an issue with some fields showing up with their internal names in the GUI. If its the same issue, quick workaround is to go into the language/localization setting in Prism (under the top right Gear icon), and switch it to and from english (toggle it)

I'm having the same problem with ISOs showing as inactive. Were you able to resolve it?

The only way I was able to upload the iso using image command was connecting my laptop to the router and then uploading the iso. Wait until upload is completed before disconnecting.
Thanks

Is it normal for the uploaded iso state to be "inactive" in the image configuration window? The bigger issue is that I haven't been able to mount an iso to a VM so I can install the OS.

Would like to add that this issue isn't limited to the CE version of Nutanix. Same behaviour in 5.0 and 5.1 release.
