I cant get past the MinimumRequirementsError: A set of disks matching the minimum requirements was not found. Tried unplugging SSD and just run on 3 HDDs but still failed. Tried plugging back the SSD and run with 1 HDD also failed. Disabled TPM (Trusted Platform Module) from lenovo BIOS and it was not successful. Tried different version of nutanix CE also having the same issue. Kindly assist.

Adrian

Adrian,

I had run in to this message as well. For me I wasn't using a SSD, I was trying to use 2 HDD's. Then after I changed the disk configuration to an SSD and HDD I still got the error.
I had to Initialize my raw disks and format them, I chose Ext4. and was able to move past that message.

Best of Luck!

You can run the gather disks script manually as well to see what nutanix would see during install. Helps to spot SSD misses or other hba issues.

Adrian,

I was advised on a different post to use a different ISO from the download page.
Originally I was using,
ISO Installer
They told me to use,
Disk Image-based Full Install > ce-2018.05.01-stable.img

Since that time, I haven't encountered the error you reported and have been able to successfully install and log in to Nutanix CE AHV.

I recommend you give that other ISO a shot, the experience has been much better.

Good Luck!

You can change requirements of CE if you go to host: home/install/phx_iso/phoenix/minimum_reqs.py remove SSD requirement.

Edit the function CheckSSD(): return

@Primzy i've done that too but to no avail. 😞

Try this:
fdisk -l | more

locate the SSD (example /dev/sda)

echo 0 > /sys/block/sda/queue/rotational

logoff

install
