expand disk

Hello,
I want to expand disk on centos 7 vm. I found that it is not enough to do thisn on hipervisor level. After connecting vm i see than nothind have been changed. disk size remains. Isn't there any automation tools?

Well CE is for tech folks so keep that in mind. Hadn't been my experience that filesystems automatically followed disk changes because they didn't know the operators intent on which partition to grow etc. Always been multi step for me regardless of management framework.

So the physical disk has changed, but your partitions have not. You would need to look at fdisk and resize2fs commonly.

This method is too difficult for ordinary customer without IT background...
When i was testing Openstack, it was done automatic. After resizing vm (extend hdd) all necessary task were done "inside". In Windows too. What can we use to help in this case? Can Calm help in some way?
