Migrate VM from VMware ESXi to (AHV) - NFS mount problem

Hello

We are migrating a VMs from VMware to AHV mounting the container in Vmware but I get that error

"FS mount 172.16.100.200:default-container-99820236226695 failed: The NFS server does not support MOUNT version 3 over TCP."

Is it possible to change the NFS type in nutanix to 3 type?

Regards

I've seen that error if you don't have your whitelist setup correctly too.  Kind of an ambiguous error.

I would raise a ticket with Nutanix support as a 'question'. they're great at providing support even if it's not a problem or when something's broken.  Let us know the answer when you get it!

Please make sure NFS service is running and NFS3 TCP protocol is enabled

Hello

There were tcpip ports closed in our firewall That was making the connection impossible

thanks and regards

Re: Migrate VM from VMware ESXi to (AHV) - NFS mount problem

We did this in reverse... We mounted nutanix storage from vCenter, added the IPs to the whitelist and migrated from VMware to Nutanix. While limited by you bandwidth and link speed, the process should work fairly flawlessly. We migrated roughly 350VMs this way.
