Error from NCC on NGT ca.tar

I see the following from ncc health checks on our secondary cluster that has been recently updated

The primary cluster does not have the same fault

ncc output fail:

FAIL: /home/ngt/ca.tar does not have the same checksum on all CVMs.

Across the secondary cluster there  is a difference on each ca.tar

-rw-r-----. 1 ngt ngt 61440 Jul 7 2016 /home/ngt/ca.tar
Connection to ~.51 closed.

How best to clear this event?

Re: Error from NCC on NGT ca.tar

Hi @roberthwl

This issue occurs when md5sum doesn't match of ca.tar on all the nodes of the cluster.

You can verify the md5sum from this command:-

allssh 'sudo md5sum /home/ngt/ca.tar'

Resolution : - ssh to the CVM containing the reference ca.tar file that you want to copy across the other CVMs for which md5 sum is not matching

You need to delete the existing CA.tar in the CVM before copying it .Make sure you can't copy directly in /home of the CVM  from other CVM so you need to create a tmp folder and scp to the tmp folder from other CVM.

After completing this, you can copy locally from  /tmp to  /home/ngt

Re: Error from NCC on NGT ca.tar

@roberthwl

This alert triggers due to an MD5SUM mismatch of the CA.tar file across the cluster.

Please raise a support case so that we can assist you over WebEx.
